POSITION OVERVIEW Our Demand Creation Program is a unique 6-month long opportunity for the next generation of Sales Leaders at IDS. In fact, over the past 2 years, the Demand Creation Program has graduated over 15 Sales professionals into outside sales. The program offers intense product and sales training, combined with sales mentoring from IDS sales professionals. Following the successful completion of the Demand Creation program, you’ll then become a member of our Outside Sales team. Success within the program will lead you to eventual sales opportunities within our field based direct sales team, sales operations and possibly sales management. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Working in a team environment with our Inside Sales and Field Sales teams, the primary focus of our Demand Creation position is to generate qualified customer leads that the inside and outside sales teams can develop into sales opportunities. This includes: Using multiple lead-generation tools, you will generate potential sales leads via the phone. Meeting a quota for daily, weekly, and monthly appointment goals by making a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day. Understanding IDS’s wide ranging product solutions. This will be accomplished by participating in ongoing Sales, Business and Technical training courses to increase overall awareness of our solutions and go-to-market strategies. Participating in verbal presentations and written tests that measure sales competency and messaging ability. Having the opportunity to participate in “Call Blitzes" to help educate our customers and grow IDS’s business to drive incremental revenue.
