Details: Acuity Brands, the market leader in innovative, technologically advanced, sustainable lighting products and solutions is looking to add a LED Technical & Product Support professional to the Industrial team.  Located in a picturesque campus in an eastern Atlanta suburb, Acuity offers a comfortable work environment with a commitment to winning.  Known for products that incorporate design and superior technical performance, we provide solutions into all facets of the marketplace.The role of LED Technical and Product Support is to work closely with our agents and customers to address product and technology questions to ensure proper selection of products and problem resolution if warranted.  Additionally, these roles perform project work in support of the business such as competitive analysis, product training, process improvements and best practices implementation.  This role leverages a strong technical background, proven communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.The ideal candidate is bright, creative and motivated to excel.  Educational requirements include a technical degree and/or related work experience, with a preference for experience in LED or digital products.  The individual must possess a sense of urgency, results orientation, strong communication skills, and a mindset for continuous improvement.  Acuity Brands offers a friendly supportive work environment, excellent benefits, & strong career growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities and Job Duties include:Responsible for administering support to internal and external customers in the areas of product support, application assistance and technical product details.  Provide support to the Product Value Stream Managers/Product Support Managers with new product introductions and sustainment of existing products.  The role serves as the main point of contact for both internal and external customers for all products in the value stream. Technology Specialist provides technical expertise to agents, customers, internal project teams and Post Sales Service - specifically relative to application and performance of solid state components and the integration of solid state digital control systems.
